What the app does
Quick QR Scanner uses the device camera to scan QR codes and barcodes. The scanning workflow is designed to process camera frames locally on the device.
Data practices
- No personal information is intentionally collected.
- No scanned QR/barcode content is intentionally collected or saved.
- No scan history is stored by the app.
- No account or login is required.
- No ads, analytics, or crash-reporting SDKs are intentionally used by the app.
- No personal information is intentionally sold or shared.
Camera permission
The CAMERA permission is used only for scanning QR codes and barcodes. Camera frames are processed locally on the device and are not intentionally stored or uploaded by the app.
Clipboard behavior
Tapping Copy to clipboard writes the current scan result to the operating-system clipboard. Other applications may be able to access clipboard content according to operating-system behavior.
Link opening behavior
Tapping Open link opens the scanned URL only after you explicitly choose to do so. Links are handed to the external browser or another appropriate external application. The app is not responsible for the privacy or security practices of external websites.
Network note
The app is built so that scanning stays local on the device. Depending on Android packaging and bundled libraries, the application package may still include platform network permissions, but Quick QR Scanner does not intentionally send scan results to a server.
